Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The primary function of this position is to assist in the provision of nursing care and related services for all residents under their assigned area and in compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines, standards and regulations which govern the facility. CNAs work under the guidance and direction of the Nursing Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing to ensure that each resident’s medical, psychosocial and spiritual needs and wishes are met effectively and efficiently.
We currently have FULL-TIME, PART-TIME and CASUAL positions on the EVENING and NIGHT shifts.
$500.00 SIGN ON BONUS.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
High School Diploma or GED. Must have
Nurse Aide certification in Pennsylvania or have
completed an approved nurse aide training
program and pass the required examinations
within 120 days of employment.

Assists residents in all activities of daily living: bathing dressing, grooming, nutritional needs, transferring, ambulation, continence and oral hygiene according to their plan of care.

Assists in performing restorative nursing functions such as bowel and bladder training, range of motion, turning and positioning, transfers, ambulation, vision, hearing, and communication.

Performs various cleaning duties, using appropriate sanitizing chemicals/solutions as indicated and as directed by the Charge Nurse.

Actively participates in various quality improvement initiatives, various committees, and with in-service training as directed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include the ability to walk extensively, sit for extended periods of time and bend, lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds frequently. Must be able to operate lifting equipment regularly and push and pull carts and/or resident transportation devices. Full list of physical requirements available upon request.
