Hospice Service

A previous illness can be overwhelming for the entire family. Hospice services is a special kind of care that focuses on the quality of life for individuals and family who are experiencing advanced, life limiting illness. Hospice care provides compassionate care in the last phase of incurable diseases so patients may live as fully and comfortably as possible.

Hospice care treats the person and symptom of the disease, rather than treating the disease itself so however many months or days remaining the individual's last days are spent with dignity and quality. Hospice service is also a family centered approach to include the individual and their family in making decisions. Families and individuals may reach a point where continuing with health care at home is a well-meaning attempt, but is no longer possible.
