The Patriot, A Choice community, is proud to announce they brought home the 2017 Affinity Cup. This cup is awarded by Affinity Health Services to one affiliated community each year at the annual Affinity Days conference for consistent excellent performance.
In addition to receiving the Affinity Cup, The Patriot Personal Care Community was recognized as the Personal Care Home of the Year.
The Patriot employees are proud of their achievements in delivering quality care day in and day out and are thankful for a supportive team who works together. The Patriot Community shared what these achievements mean to them:
“To me, there isn’t a better award to be had. To be recognized as “The BEST Personal Care Home” for 2017 is quite the accomplishment. It would not be possible without the hard work, dedication of my team members. From my right hand, Missy Beal and all my devoted front-line staff, an award of this magnitude wouldn’t be possible.

“To some this may just be a cup…a silver empty cup. However to one of the places I call home… it is so much more. Its sweat…hard work…dedication. Tears of joy when we send someone home and tears of sadness when they pass on. Its a year of hard work… without the support of a great team this cup would not mean much. For those of you that don’t know..this represents a group effort by some of the strongest people I know and that we came out on top after a crazy ride of 2017. So .. thank you…to the staff that stood by me and continue to bless me. The residents and families that so graciously enter our building and lives.
